SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Here are some of the initiatives I have engaged in throughout my life to contribute to society and effect positive change in the community.
FUNDRAISER
Henry Lawson Club, Australian High Commission, New Delhi
The charity fundraiser was a dinner and fashion event hosted by Spread A Smile, an organisation that labours to provide street children that beg at traffic lights and signals with food, clothing, education and soon, vocational training.
As part of the event, I was involved in the backstage organisation and the exhibition team. My responsibilities included managing the outfits and garments that were showcased and subsequently sold to raise funds for this noble cause.

DESIGN WORKSHOP
This industrial visit-cum-workshop was organised for students of American Embassy School, New Delhi, to expose them to the entire design and production process of an apparel unit.
During the visit, the students gained valuable insights into the intricacies of apparel manufacturing. Additionally, they had the opportunity to engage in an enriching activity focused on the art of hand embroidery through quilt-making. The completed quilts were then presented to them as cherished souvenirs.

SWACHCH BHARAT ABHIYAN
It is an initiative by Indian Government aimed at cleaning India from grass-root level, engaging the entire community in the process.
During my undergrad (NIFT), I participated actively in the cleanliness drives every week on Fridays, organised by my college, contributing to this worthy cause.
TRAINING & INDUCTION
Some Pakistani refugee families have been living on outskirts of Delhi since 1970s, these women come from the community which is still struggling for a proper identity.
Participating in the CSR initiative by Pia Pauro, I worked in the process of their training and induction for tailoring and embroidery development in our firm. My role involved managing the entire operation and coordinating closely with the HR team to ensure the success of the program.

SAY NO TO TOBACCO
On January 27, 2013, the Rotary Club of Patna organized the Grand Patna March to raise awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco use. I participated in this significant event alongside my college peers, contributing to the cause by helping to educate the public on the dangers of tobacco.

STREET PLAY ON SOCIAL EVILS
During my school years, I actively participated in various street plays as a narrator, anchor, and actor. These performances were designed to raise awareness about social issues ailing the Indian society, such as dowry, domestic violence, and corruption. We presented these plays in school competitions and at community centers, aiming to educate and engage the public on these critical issues.
ROAD SAFETY AND AWARENESS
While I was in school, I took part in traffic awareness and road safety programmes organised by Hero MotoCorp.
These initiatives aimed to educate both students and the wider community about the importance of adhering to traffic rules, thereby contributing to safer roads.

TREE PLANTATION
My school organised several tree plantation drives in the nearby area, and as an engaged and proactive student, I participated in these green initiatives with purpose of giving back to nature and fostering a greener environment.
